Food and Fun
We are delighted to confirm that Ysgol Bryn Tabor offers Food and Fun Summer Scheme during the first three weeks of the summer holidays. We are pleased to be able to provide this fantastic opportunity, free of charge, in partnership with the Welsh Local Government Association and Wrexham County Borough Council. Information about the Food and Fun Scheme is usually shared with parents during the spring term, around Easter time, giving families the opportunity to confirm whether they would like their child to attend. Places are then allocated based on the responses received. The Food and Fun Scheme is open to pupils currently in Years 2 to 6 at Ysgol Bryn Tabor. The activities have been carefully planned to encourage pupils to make new friends, develop their communication skills and build confidence through teamwork and fun experiences. Children attending the scheme will receive a free breakfast, morning snack and lunch each day, along with opportunities to learn about healthy eating and take part in practical cooking activities. Please note that children should not bring food or drinks from home. There will also be a wide range of sports, physical activities and exciting enrichment sessions delivered by a variety of partner organisations. We ask that children wear suitable clothing each day and bring a sunhat and sun cream so they can enjoy all activities comfortably and safely. We look forward to welcoming your child for three weeks of fun, friendship and exciting experiences this summer!
